T in the Park 2010
We’ve been previewing the Primavera Sound festival because it is going to be a major part of our summer but that is not to overlook some of the big moments in Scotland.
And when you talk about Scottish festivals, T in the Park stands proud and tall above the rest.

T in the Park has been a major part of Scottish life since 1994 when it came to life in Strathclyde Park before moving to Balado in 1998. Nowadays it seems as though the festival itself has become bigger than the bands, with the festival a virtual sell-out before any band is announced.
For many, it’s all about the party and the music is a bonus.
As you would expect, that’s not how we roll. For us, the music is paramount because if we want to hang out and drink with our friends, there are 51 non T in the Park weekends of the year to do just that.
So we’re going to look at some of the bands playing this year’s T in the Park.
We won’t lie to you, it is not the T line-up of our dreams and a poor comparison to previous years will be somewhat inevitable. However, a festival is still what you make of it and T in the Park is bound to be a huge success regardless of what bands you see or how the weather treats you.
As hopefully some of the pictures show, T in the Park is a tremendous festival where music and mirth go hand in hand.
Below you will find the links where we (or our friends at ThisIsPopland, depending on the nature of the act) look to preview some of the acts who can help you have a great time in Balado this summer.
So hopefully you will see that even though we have our reservations about the festival, it’s still going to be a cracking long weekend and likely to be one of the best weekends of the year for the punters!
