Full Deserters Deserve Death gig available to watch now!

Electric Circus show for your listening and viewing pleasure

It is not very often you get the opportunity to view an entire set of a band on-line so Cold Blooded Clarity are proud to present to you Deserters Deserve Death at the Electric Circus, Edinburgh.

On Wednesday the 7th of April, the band were supporting The Crookes and the band were happy for us to record the entire set and offer it up for viewing.

The cameraman (by his own admission) isn’t the greatest and when you have such powerful feedback, you can never tell how the sound will come across after recording but it should give you a taster of what the band is like live.

Deserters Deserve Death hope to finish off the recording of their debut album in the near future. As soon as we know (or as soon as we get online after that), you’ll know all about it.

We captured the band from a few positions so whether you like playing it cool and watching a band from a distance or you want to get so close you can reach out and turn up the volume on the amps (not recommended), there should be something for you.

Okay, we’ve rambled enough…..Deserters Deserve Death at the Electric Circus, Edinburgh.

The opening song was called ‘Memories of Wounds’ and the next track is ‘Blood On The Ice’.

If you are interested in the visuals playing behind the band, it is a film called ‘The Fall’ by renowned director Tarsem Singh.

The Electric Circus has an eclectic look, almost as if the decor was based on whatever fixtures and fittings they could buy cheaply from other pubs and venues that went bust! However, the screen behind the van was a great touch, adding an extra appeal to a show.

The Deserters Deserve Death line-up consists of Ashley, Grant, Kieran and Jamie the following song features Grant on lead vocals, on a track entitled ‘Love Is Terminal.’

If Ashley and Grant look familiar, you are probably aware of the work of Saint Judes Infirmary as they were a staple of that act. Deserters Deserve Death is their current outlet and the closing song of the set was ‘Christmas Song’.
